As you can see from the amount of real estate left bare, the old drives took up a lot of room! The extruder consisted of a main extruder and a co-extruder. The old drives were Reliance CardPaks.

We did the first installation and trained DCMM's crew so that they could do the rest of the extruders. There were 5 total!

Now, extrusion seldom has a down day due to the reliability of the drives provided by AIM Controls! The last extruder was converted in 1999!
