When Duco decided to get rid of its old regenerative DC drive and motor on this winder system, the looked for AIM Controls to design the solution.

The premise was pretty simple. We sold a vector duty motor with the Eric Vector drive on the left. We included controls in a pendant station and on the door, with a switch to select the proper operator controls.

We included a starter for the traversing motor and the rest, as they say, is history!

To the right is the picture of the winder system. The winder motor would normally be bottom center but this picture was taken before the motor was mounted and covered with a safety cage.

This small system has been running flawlessly since early summer of 2003.
