We use several different "flavors" of PLC depending on the application, and upon customer request.
AIM Controls used the 205 Series with the 260 processor and ethernet cards to connect 9 units and a folder during a retrofit on a Goss Metroliner press. The PLC controls 10 different drives, sending a load signal from the first drive, across the comms link to the other drives, so that all drives load share. This system has been working great since March of 2003!
